It was a tough competition. The weather was extremely hot, with temperatures above 35°C and almost no wind. Periods of good thermals alternated with dead air.
Unfortunately, there were two mid-air collisions. The first happened during the launch, when Ogi’s model collided with another glider, resulting in minor damage to the rudder. The second occurred while several models were circling against the sun. Stoycho’s glider collided with another one and, unfortunately, went down with a broken fuselage.
Many thanks to our hosts in Ludbreg for organizing such a wonderful competition. The food was delicious, and the beer was cold.
